Sensu Lato - Interview Series with Andrea Kouklanakis
I am conducting a series of interviews to highlight scholarly contributions to the study of Classica Africana from Latin America. Brazil is home to the largest population of African descendants outside of the continent itself. As such, it is the perfect starting point for launching conversations about Afro-diasporic and Afro-connected perspectives on the ancient Mediterranean world. I hope that these conversations will help us as members of the society consider the epistemological and pedagogical possibilities that emerge from perspectives outside Anglophone North America.
